This my haven, my playground, my listener (of my rants), my escape, my whatever’s. Basically you can call this my blog. This is where most of my wandering thoughts have landed. What conspires here are my different emotions about just everything. Be it about my life, studies, love, food, etc.
I started doing this when I was in second year high school. I was one of the pioneer kids in school who discovered blogging. It was when everyone would ask, “what is a blog?”
I started in blogspot, moved to blogdrive and finally got my first hosting somewhere. Then I transferred to another host, then another until I dropped my knees over this generous host of mine (misteryosa.com). I had been here for quite awhile. Hmmm, perhaps it had been for 4 years? If you try to ransack my old entries you can’t find them anymore. I deleted them for shallow reasons. I don’t want to read about my immature thoughts anymore. It makes me realize how stupid I was, hehehe.
Well, I am contented this place. This would be my lair for never endings I guess. Hopefully my host would still adopt me until forever. LOL.

The Heiress
I was born in Iloilo City on the 4th of September 1989. My parents are both Ilonggo which explains why I can understand fluent Hiligaynon. I was raised there for 6 years and when I started my 1st grade, we moved to Luzon- in Antipolo specifically. We spent a year on the said city. The next year, we transferred near to my tita’s house in Mandaluyong and so meant a new school for me. Another year passed, my family moved to San Juan which eventually turned to be the longest place where we have been living in. I have been here when I was in grade 3, until now that I am in college and currently graduating. But that doesn’t mean we locked ourselves on the same house during that span of time. We kept on transferring houses here in San Juan especially when our third and youngest was born.
In other words, we don’t have our own house, hehehe
I have been a ’smart’ kid when I was younger. Yeah, only when I was younger. I would always get honors in school, the 1st or the 2nd, any of the two and other special awards. I would often get the most industrious award, if not the most honest. Hahaha!
And best in (subject) awards. Psssh…. I graduated as a school valedictorian in grade school.
High school came, I entered Manila Science High School. I got some meritorious awards during recognition days but not really during graduation. That, I proved I am not really into academics. I despise studying. Hahaha!
2006 and my college life threatened me. I was one of the confused aspirants for the top university in the country. I should not have been into UP. I was thinking of entering UST at first. My parents wanted me to be a nurse so I can go abroad and earn dollars. Duh? But no, I didn’t go by the climatic economic urges of the people. And here I am, landed in service industry/ business course known as HRIM. Have I chosen this one truly? Hhmmm, well that was my first choice written in my UPCAT form but not really the first choice I had in mind. I had nothing on my mind, actually. Very funny (of me)! I wanted to be a computer specialist, a multimedia artist, a performer, whatever. I was confused. But I pursued what I started and I am graduating next year.
What I want now and excited about is the new chapter of my life, I’m gonna be a working girl! I want to work in hotel and known companies or better yet start my own restaurant. I just don’t complain if opportunities come. Everything is a blessing.
As of now, many things keep me busy which also added more color to my ever-been-colorful-life. Today, I enjoy performing and sharing my passion in music. I have been part of an organization known as UP Kontra-Gapi (UP Kontemporaryong Gamelan Pilipino) which showcases the different music of Southeast Asia and features indigenous musical instruments like the Agong, Saronay, Kulintang, etc. I realized that my passion really is to work with people and serve.
I have also been active in different school organizations like the UP SHARP (UP Society for Hotel and Restaurant Progress) which is a group of concerned HRIM students where I also served as one of the executive committee of the organization. In here, I hoaned my managerial and other people skills like public relations. I have handled numerous school and organizational events.
I am also a part of the one and only nationalist party in the university known as STAND UP (Student Alliance for the Advancement of the National Democratic Rights in UP) ; last but never the least, the Kabataan Partylist which is the sole and first youth party-list group in the Philippines Congress.
Many things are yet to be added on the list and many more things are yet to be remembered. I just enjoy life as it is but I never forget my role as a person, to serve the people.
